All volunteers are required to fill out a Broward County Public Schools Volunteer Application, The link for the application is located on the left of this page.  Once your application has been processed bring your license to the school office to receive your new volunteer badge for this school year.

Below is a description of some of the Volunteer Opportunities


SPIRIT STICKS: Volunteers will assist in a variety of ways to help maintain this school wide positive initiative that rewards students for great behavior.  


FREE AND EASY WAYS TO HELP SCHOOL: Volunteers will assist in a variety of ways. Great from-home volunteer opportunity. (Examples: Box Tops, Campbell Soup labels, etc.)


HELPING HANDS/TLC: Volunteers assist with carline to help a smooth morning arrival time for students.


GREEN TEAM: Committee members raise awareness about reducing & recycling and a variety of other initiatives that keep our school “green” and to help teach our kids the importance of protecting our environment and our world.  Opportunities at home and at school.


HEALTHY LIFESTYLES: Committee to raise awareness about healthy lifestyle choices for our families at ECE. Opportunities at home and at school.


LIBRARY/MEDIA: Volunteers needed to help with a variety of tasks within the Media Center at school. Throughout the year, as you can.


SCIENCE LAB: Volunteers are needed to help assist the teacher in the Science Lab. Volunteering in the Science lab is a fun way to help out in an exciting learning environment.  It is NOT necessary to have a background in science and the hours are very flexible.  


 ART/SPANISH FAIR: Volunteers are needed to help assist the teachers in both Art and Spanish. Throughout the year, as you can and assisting with the Art/Spanish fair. 



The following committees have a sign-up genius and can also be coordinated through the teacher and the room parent. Please let us know which teacher you can assist when using the link.


GREAT LEAPS READING TEST PROCTOR: Committee members will assist in this Reading fluency program where the volunteers work directly with students. At school opportunities. 


MEET THE MASTERS: Chairperson organizes & maintains the art enrichment/education program. This involves the organizing & training of volunteers to teach the program. Volunteers assist in a variety of ways including in the classrooms.


PUBLISHING CENTER: Volunteers are needed to assist with a variety of tasks including editing, typing, and binding of student-authored stories. At home and school opportunities.
